My fascination with the body began with a master’s degree in medical biotechnology, studying in Poland, Sweden, Denmark and now London.
My grounding in the sciences gave me a solid understanding of human anatomy, but I was left feeling that there was something missing from the purely clinical approach to healing. I became aware of the need to treat individuals in a more holistic way with a focus on the body, the soul, and the spirit.
In 2018 I achieved ITEC accreditation with a Level 3 Diploma in Relaxing and Deep Tissue Massage. I decided on massage because of its power to connect to the mind through the body. As a masseuse, my job is to listen to a person’s needs and to provide healing experience that is individualised, born from the connection between client and therapist. Whereas conventional medicine can sometimes throw drugs at symptoms rather than addressing underlying causes, massage sees the mind and body as linked and creates an overall sense of wellbeing.
I cherish and appreciate the beauty of healing through touch, and find providing relief and relaxation to my clients deeply rewarding. Allowing people to escape from their everyday tensions and problems inspires me to find new ways to help my clients. I’m continuously learning alternative healing methods and new techniques including traditional Chinese massage, Tui na.
